Is it time for the Milwaukee Bucks to embrace a new era and end relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo given their current struggle? A Boston Celtics legend seems to think so.

Paul Pierce, appearing in the show of former teammate Kevin Garnett had a discussion whether the Bucks are better off letting go of the Greek Freak. The Truth suggested that the Wisconsin organization can’t allow themselves lose everything by making sure that they will have picks in case Antetokounmpo takes a different path.
His proposal was to ship Giannis to Western Conference title contenders Oklahoma City Thunder. He said his trade proposal would ‘break the league.’

“If you could find a way to get Giannis to OKC… They got all the draft picks, they got young talent that you can trade for him. Nobody can give you the assets that OKC can get you.”
“If they could trade some first-round picks. You know what, we’ll give y’all Jalen (Williams) and some picks. We’ll give you five picks, and you can take anybody except Chet and Shai. If he (Giannis) demands a trade, they’re going to be set back. You don’t want to lose him and not get the foundation that can help you into the future, and OKC’s got that.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo is un-tradeable, OKC doesn’t need him yet
This must be another of those hot takes from Pierce. He’s been known for making out-of-this world claims since retiring in 2017.
Right now, Antetokounmpo is not up for trade. Brian Windhorst said it is teams who are making inquiries for the two-time MVP and not the other way around.

OKC has no business trading away their chips right now as things are running smoothly for them so far. There is no dire need to trade for a superstar as they already have one in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
The team is currently 8-1, tied for the top spot in the Western Conference. The team is firing on all cylinders, starting from the first five down to the bench.
