Philadelphia 76ers cruised to a second straight victory after getting one on the road against the Dallas Mavericks with their Big 3 showing glimpse of what they paid for. Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George all played efficiently in the 123-108 win.

MVP candidate Maxey was lethal as usual with his 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists. Embiid contributed 22 points and six assists while also providing great defense and putting Anthony Davis through hell. Fans thought they saw a vintage Embiid with his flurry of moves whether from the outside or the inside.

Quick decision mode Embiid is still powerful offensive playmaker.

PG only had 14 points but he was the most impactful as he recorded +20 in efficiency stat.

The Big 3 had huge help, too, from their exciting rookie VJ Edgecombe who had 23 points, four steals, and one block.

Joel Embiid feels like he is back

Embiid may have scored just 22 points which is far from his common scoring production but his past game will show that he is finding his groove back.

That’s how he actually feels after their win in Dallas according to NCBS reporter John Clark.

“I feel like I’m getting back to myself”

Embiid is still under close monitoring due to a knee injury but he has been delivering well when made available.

He played seven games in the last 10 and scored more than 20 points in six of them. His best game of the season so far is the New Year’s Eve’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies where he recorded an almost triple double of 34-10-8.
