Joel Embiid for the nth time scared Philadelphia 76ers fans after he went down in third quarter of game against the Brooklyn Nets. He went down 20 seconds after the halftime after a collision with Terance Mann.

The often-injured star still managed to return to the game and finishedf with 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Problem is they lost the game.
MVP candidate Tyrese Maxey was the biggest struggler in the game as he had his lowest scoring game so far this season with 13 (he had 12 vs Bucks but they won). He shot 21.6 percent on the field and only had three rebounds and two assists.
“I just wasn’t good,” Maxey told reporters about their performance. “I didn’t get in rhythm. I I didn’t feel like I was in rhythm, but it’s OK.”

Joel Embiid update from Nick Nurse
Sixers would hate to lose twice and a positive update on Embiid would be welcome. The 2023 MVP himself said he had a hyperextension and he was the one who insisted on returning.

Nick Nurse said he does not have an update yet on his player’s health status other than he was ready to go after returning to the bench. He also talked about the offensive provided by his big man.
