The Las Vegas Aces, led by A’ja Wilson, looked ready to close out the Indiana Fever in Game 4 on Sunday, but Indiana had other plans. Backed by their home crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Fever pulled out a 90-83 win to force a decisive Game 5.

After the loss, A’ja Wilson went straight to the foul sheet.
“I was just looking at the fouls. Lyss had five, Jackie had five, Chelsea had five,” she said with a smirk. “That’s very interesting to me.”

Becky Hammon, sitting right next to her, jumped in. She noted Megan Gustafson had four fouls too. Wilson exaggerated a “What?” before repeating how “interesting” it all was. Hammon didn’t bother to dress it up.
“By ‘interesting,’ do you mean that’s s***?” she cracked.
Wilson laughed it off, careful not to double down, while Hammon shrugged and said she didn’t have a brand to protect anyway.
Vegas finished with 24 fouls to Indiana’s 17. On top of that, the Fever owned the glass, 34-22, with an 8-3 edge in offensive boards.
A’ja Wilson calls out Aliyah Boston’s “special whistle” comment
It wasn’t just the foul talk. Wilson also brought up Aliyah Boston, claiming the Fever center hinted she gets special treatment.

“Aliyah [Boston] did say I have a special whistle, and she shot 13 today,” Wilson said.
Boston went 10-of-13 at the line, while Wilson hit 3-of-6. Both put on a show—Wilson dropped 31 points, Boston answered with 24. But Boston’s squad got the win, and that’s what stung most.
Now it all comes down to Game 5. Fever vs. Aces. Wilson vs. Boston. Winner heads to the Finals against the Phoenix Mercury, who already handled the Lynx 3-1.
