A’ja Wilson did her thing Wednesday night, going off for 37 points and 10 boards to help the Las Vegas Aces squeeze past the Dallas Wings, 90–86. But what really hit people right in the feels? What she did after the buzzer.

Just as she was heading out, Wilson noticed a little girl near the court wearing her jersey, holding a homemade sign. Without even thinking, she jogged over, got down low, and signed the kid’s poster.
Then she took it a step further—literally gave her the shoes she’d just played in.
The girl was stunned. Like, speechless.

Wilson stuck around for photos, gave her a hug, and shared a quick moment before leaving. The video spread fast on social media. One fan reposted the clip and summed it up perfectly:
“This honestly what it’s all about 💕”
It was the kind of moment that hits harder than any stat line.
A’ja Wilson Hits Rare Milestone After Big Night in Dallas
While that postgame scene stole hearts, Wilson’s numbers that night were no joke either. She’s now just the second player in WNBA history—after Candace Parker—to drop back-to-back games with 30+ points and 10 rebounds.
Even crazier? She joins Parker and Tina Charles as the only ones to record multiple streaks like that.

Wilson leads Vegas in almost everything right now—points (21.5), boards (9.1), assists, blocks, steals—you name it.
But more than just stats, it’s stuff like that moment with the kid that shows why she’s different. It wasn’t for the cameras. It wasn’t staged. Just real.
A’ja isn’t just one of the best in the league—she’s one of the realest, too.
