“Let Me Borrow Your Gucci Bag”: A’ja Wilson’s Workout With Jewel Lloyd Gets Candace Parker’s Reaction

Las Vegas Aces Star A’ja Wilson flexed her first signature shoe line, the A’One series, in a series of practice photos and videos she posted on social media.

In a post on Instagram, A’Ja Wilson shared a series of photos and videos of herself doing practice while sporting her A’ONe Nike shoes.

“Pick Ya Poison ☠️ 🧪,” Wilson wrote in the caption.

Fans and industry colleagues went to the comments section to show support and appreciation for A’Ja. However, her teammate Candace Parker seemed to have her eyes on something else.

“Let me borrow your Gucci bag,” Parker wrote in her comment.

In a press release for the launching of the A’One signature shoes, Wilson described the inspiration behind the creation of the shoe line.

“The A’One is meant to go the distance, taking control from the jump and dominating the floor on every play,” Wilson says. “From the beginning, we designed the shoe to both support my game and to provide young hoopers a tool to help them level up. The A’One aces that assignment, delivering exactly what I need to push my performance and inspiring the next generation to give it their all on every play.”

“When athletes wear my shoe or any of the pieces from my collection, I want them to feel the power behind that logo: the power to dream big, then put in the work — in style and confidence,” Wilson said.

A’Ja Wilson Teammate joins Caitlin Clark in Indiana Fever

The Indiana Fever has already made significant roster moves to improve their lineup, particularly around their star player Caitlin Clark. With several more weeks into the tip-off of the 2025 season, the Fever front office made another significant move. This time, they are bringing Sydney Colson, A’Ja Wilson’s former teammate from the Aves, to the Fever mix.

In a video, Fever General Manager and COO Amber Cox shared what the addition of Colson means for the team.

“I think she’s going to bring a lot of joy to our lives this season,” Cox said. “She’s going to be able to lead our team.”

“And obviously, you know, great personality as well. Brings a lot of fun and levity to the locker room. Again, that experience, knows when we need which side, right? Like the serious, the tough, veteran leadership versus the, you know, fun, playful Syd.”
