Aliyah Boston, power forward for the Indiana Fever, is looking forward to somehow winning Game 3 after losing in the last game to the Las Vegas Aces. The Indiana Fever managed to win the first game, but the Aces clearly dominated every second of Game 2, which ended with Indiana losing with an embarrassing 90-68.
Boston herself chalked up ten points in the second game against the Aces with 13 boards to lead the team. Indiana was led on the scoreboard by Odyssey Sims who managed 18 points in total with seven boards. Even though Boston’s Fever lost, the player stole hearts even before the matchup started with her arrival to the game. Boston made an entrance with rookie Makayla Timpson, who shared an adorable picture of them both holding hands.

“me & babes (red heart emoji)” Indiana Fever rookie Makayla Timpson captioned her Instagram post.
The Indiana Fever clearly ran into trouble in Game 2 against the Las Vegas Aces. As per analysts who quickly noted, the Aces seemed to be strongly targeting Kelsey Mitchell to limit Indiana’s scoring. The strategy clearly worked since the Fever lost by a pretty large margin.
Aliyah Boston and the Indiana Fever will be soon locking horns with the Las Vegas Aces for Game 3 later this week. The team will hope to win and tip the series in their favor as they try their best to get to the finals.
Aliyah Boston’s Defense Does Not Scare A’ja Wilson
While Aliyah Boston herself was busy preparing strategies for Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson before Game 2, Wilson did not seem to think similarly. Wilson was asked about playing against Boston before the game and the legendary player gave a plain and blunt response.

“It was no different than any other time that I play Aliyah, or any other big in this league. It’s always very physical, and it’s the playoffs, so they let you get away with a lot of different things. But that doesn’t really change much of the game and our system. So we really just gotta continue to buckle in.” Las Vegas Aces star, A’ja Wilson said about Indiana Fever’s Aliyah Boston.
Boston and the Fever clearly struggled in Game 2, but A’ja Wilson managed a fantastic job as usual. Wilson managed to chalk up a total of 25 points on the scoreboard with nine boards and a single helper. Wilson has been phenomenal this WNBA season, with 23.4 points in every game as an average.
