Aliyah Boston didn’t hold back after fellow Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell secured her spot as a 2025 WNBA All-Star reserve. She took to Instagram with a caption that said it all:

    “So deserving 😍😍”

With Aliyah Boston, every word matters. Her reaction was hype and validation at the same time. Boston is no stranger to big moments herself as she was voted a starter during last year’s All-Star weekend. And with fans placing her as the third most popular vote-getter, she knows firsthand what recognition feels like.

Celebrating Mitchell isn’t just about being a supportive teammate for Aliyah Boston, it’s also about spotlighting the Fever’s evolving identity. Mitchell has been a key to Indiana’s resurgence, leading the team with 19.2 points per game through 40 outings in 2024.

There’s great chemistry between Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. And you can see it beyond the stats. There’s always this strong bond between sisters. Boston’s support echoes the team-first mantra Indiana’s core has leaned into, especially with Caitlin Clark still recovering from a recent injury.

This year’s All-Star Game in Indianapolis brings even more meaning for Aliyah Boston. Not only is she back in the celebratory mix, but she’s doing it while cheering on the teammates who make her Fever squad tick. And for Boston, “so deserving” is a promise that the spotlight in Indiana belongs to the whole crew, not just one name.

Aliyah Boston gets unanimous teammate trust, Caitlin Clark jokes about being snubbed

Aliyah Boston just proved that once locker room trust is earned, it’s cemented. When a playful poll among Indiana Fever teammates asked, “Who’s the first person you’d call in an emergency?”, the consensus pointed squarely at Aliyah Boston.

That didn’t go unnoticed by Caitlin Clark, who took to social media with a jab of her own.

“Confused why no one said me ….” Clark joked, clearly surprised by the runaway trust vote.

Aliyah Boston, always cool with the clapbacks, replied with a subtle mic drop:

“So basically everyone knows who to call thank ya.”

It was all in good fun, but the moment subtly highlighted just how solid Aliyah Boston’s role is behind the scenes. While Clark may grab headlines and break records, Aliyah Boston clearly commands the room in a different way: one built on calm, leadership, and that reliable big-sister energy.

Whether it’s putting up double-doubles on the floor or being the team’s 911 off of it, Aliyah Boston continues to show she’s the real glue on and off the hardwood. And if emergencies ever do break out? The Fever already know who’s got it handled. No confusion there.
