Not an uncommon sight for the current and active giving praise to the outgoing. Angel Reese adds to DeWanna Bonner’s post a response that reflects her fondness, respect, and her connection.

DB put out an Instagram post saying,

“So much can change in a year. [sparkles] When I look back, I’m amazed by the journey—the highs, the lessons, the pivots, and the quiet wins that didn’t always make the timeline. More than anything, I’m grateful. [prayer hands].”

Angel Reese, the active social media person she is, also put in her own dedication to the decorated WNBA player.

“You are the WOMAN we all inspire to be. From your craft to your motherhood to you just being a beautiful, amazing human being. You always have a lil sis in me [white heart].”

And that was a bit reflective of their sister-like relationship — one built on admiration and shared experience. DeWanna Bonner has seen it all: championships, transitions, and leadership roles, while Reese is just beginning to carve her place. It’s that passing of wisdom and acknowledgment that feels more like family than rivalry.

But still, there is a huge difference in their own play of branding. One is the quiet, self-building, talent-wielding basket-getter. The other is the loud, multi-faceted influencer-player. Two very different paths that a number of fans hope would yield the same ending. We know Angel Reese hopes to reach the same destination, even if her route is different.

Regardless of the differences in both era, style, and methods, both these ladies have pushed the WNBA to even bigger heights. And that’s what it’s all about — respecting the standards one certain Angel Reese wishes to copy.

Angel Reese Hints At Big Project With Paige Bueckers, WNBA World Starts Guessing

Angel Reese continues to dominate both on and off the court, and her latest tease has WNBA fans buzzing with curiosity. The Chicago Sky star recently hinted at a “big project” alongside UConn standout Paige Bueckers, sparking widespread speculation online.

“Me and Paige actually have something really big coming up together. Stay tuned,” Reese said, immediately igniting talk about what the collaboration might be. Some fans think it’s a brand deal, while others hope it’s a joint media or fashion project.

Reese and Bueckers have both become faces of the new generation of women’s basketball. One is already a pro shaking up the WNBA, while the other is still the face of college hoops. Seeing them join forces — whatever the reason — shows how the women’s game continues to expand its cultural influence.

Angel Reese remains proof that the new wave of WNBA players can inspire, entertain, and lead the culture at the same time. And as fans wait to see what’s next from the Reese-Bueckers duo, one thing’s for sure — she’s not slowing down anytime soon.
