Angel Reese recently discussed how she ended up in the Team USA camp along with several other big names. Reese, along with numerous other W stars, including Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers have been named to the training list which was announced sometime back.
While the attendance of these big names has been massively applauded, many have also been questioning about their actual contributions to the team. However, Reese admitted in an interview with Washington Post that she and the other players did not make it to the list because of their celebrity status, but because they definitely had plenty to give to the team.

“Everybody wants to make the team. It’s an honor to be even in this camp. They didn’t just select us for no reason. They handpicked us because they thought we would bring something to the table,” Angel Reese said.
Fans of Team USA were also excited to see Angel Reese take on her rival Caitlin Clark at the training camp. The two ladies, and their respective fan groups, will have to put aside their rivalry and work together for the good of the team.
“I think the league is in great hands. I think the players, the storylines – and a lot of it has to do with them taking hold of their own brand,” Candace Parker said.
Team USA itself has undergone plenty of changes as it get ready to grab the next gold medal as well. Right now, Sue Bird is the team’s MD and will be the one in charge of choosing who makes it to the team and not.
Angel Reese’s Remarks Against Sydney Sweeney Claimed To Be Fake
Meanwhile, Angel Reese got Sydney Sweeney fans stirred up a bit when she seemed to compare their looks. A tweet put out by a popular handle ‘HoopsCrave’ shared some time back that Reese claimed that darker shades are much more beautiful than lighter ones.

“No shade but the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice.” Angel Reese apparently said.

However, it looks like social media detectives have found that Angel Reese has never said anything like this about Sweeney. Reese has also not responded to these fake comments, which she reportedly made against the actress. Sometime ago, another fake news surrounding the two women started circulating when it was reported that Reese had chosen to boycott American Eagle jeans after Sweeney had made that racist ad for the brand.
