Thursday morning was a milestone moment for Angel Reese as the “Chi-Town Barbie” officially launched her first signature shoe line with Reebok. The debut came in three colorways — “Diamond Dust,” “Mebounds,” and “Receipts Ready.”
Fans wasted no time. Within hours of the drop, both Mebounds and Receipts Ready were gone, with only a few pairs of Diamond Dust still available on Reebok’s site as of publication.

Reese immediately jumped on social media to share her gratitude. On X, she posted,
“I love yall BADDDDD.” Later, she delivered a longer message on Instagram, calling the launch an emotional leap of faith.
“I’m in full tears right now. Taking a leap of faith and launching three of my signature shoes at once was a huge risk—but guess what? They all sold out! I’m sooooo THANKFUL & beyond GRATEFUL and just want to thank everyone for the amazing support. REEBOK IS BACK!”
The signature line has been years in the making. Reese first signed with Reebok back in 2023 while still at LSU. In 2024, she not only earned her first All-Star nod with the Chicago Sky but also secured an extension with the brand that included the promise of her own shoe.
She now joins a select group of WNBA stars leading sneaker campaigns, standing alongside A’ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu, and Caitlin Clark with Nike. The surge of deals signals how invested brands have become in women’s basketball after a record-setting 2024 season.
“You got men wanting her shoe”: Shaq talks about Angel Reese’s deal with Reebok
Shaquille O’Neal, who has been heavily involved in Reebok’s basketball relaunch with Allen Iverson, praised the demand around Reese’s sneakers.
“Her shoes have been sold out. We have sold a lot of her shoes. We weren’t nervous on the launch, but we were like ‘In we go!’ The crazy thing that I didn’t even anticipate—you got men wanting her shoe. That’s impressive,” O’Neal told Sports Illustrated.

He added that requests are coming in constantly: “I get calls all the time, ‘Hey, I need a size 13,’ and I’m like ‘I don’t even think we make that. Let me call.’ So, we’re going to continue to work with her. The Angel Reese deuce and the Angel Reese 3. And she’s young, so we got a long future ahead of us.”
For Reebok, Reese is more than just a signature athlete — she represents the next chapter. With Iverson and O’Neal steering the relaunch, it looks like they’ve found their centerpiece in the Chi-Town Barbie.
