Angel Reese was distraught after the results of the quadrennial US elections, which saw Donald Trump emerge victorious over Kamala Harris. Reese, an active advocate of responsible voting, was frustrated with America and its people after what happened.
In her X/Twitter account, Angel Reese expressed her thoughts on the much-awaited result and believed that Trump’s presidential re-election seemingly resulted from everyone’s conceit.
“I’m so disappointed in America….Some of you just couldn’t selfishly put your pride aside huh??!?!?,” Reese tweeted.

Angel Reese also made another tweet, invoking the same emotions:
“Woke up speechless….” the Chicago Sky star added.
Angel Reese’s fans also gave reactions to her posts:
“Wasn’t pride, it was racism and misogyny,” a commenter said.
“They let racism and misogyny dictate their lives for the next 4 years not knowing how much we all are about to lose,” another one commented.
“Stay out of politics. You have no idea what you’re talking about…Unsolicited advice: Stop trying to hold other people’s water before you start getting this work,” a critic said.
Angel Reese never explicitly supported Harris during the presidential campaign, although she made some hints occasionally. She previously said that she lacks the knowledge to comment about politics.
“I haven’t been able to tap a lot into the political election and everything going on. So, I’m not that educated [on that topic] right now, but I just continue to learn and give feedback,” Reese said.
The US Elections saw Trump becoming the first to reach the 270 electoral votes needed to become the nation’s president. Meanwhile, Harris, which many NBA and WNBA players supported, is currently on 226.

Angel Reese reacts to entry of promising newbie to her alma mater
Angel Reese was excited after the arrival of skilled rookie ZaKiyah Johnson to the LSU Tigers, Reese’s former college. Amidst being coveted by many teams, Johnson ultimately chose to play for the Tigers.
Reese commented on Johnson’s post, congratulating and supporting the former Sacred Heart Academy guard.
“Congrats pretty girl,” Reese replied. “The gworlsssss wit the edges and the lashes always do well in the BOOT! Welcomeeee.”

New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, an LSU alumnus, toasted Johnson by replying with three emojis of smiling devils with a grin.
Johnson led her high school into a state championship last season, averaging 18.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. She also said that one of her interests in entering the Tigers was having the same “vibe” as Angel Reese. She also prefers LSU as her college overall.
