Angel Reese got a wild shot from analyst and critic Jason Whitlock, who talked about his “daddy” failing to make a shot at one basketball challenge.
In one Instagram video, a Washington Wizards fan took on an on-court shooting challenge with a $1 million prize. Unfortunately, the man failed to make enough shots and did not win the challenge prize.

Whitlock’s post confused fans as there was nothing in the clip that suggested that the fan who attempted the challenge was Angel Reese’s father, or if he did make any claims of being his “daddy.”
One fan reacted to Whitlock’s post: “I can see why your present on X is low. Corny lame tweets.”

Another one echoed the sentiment: “Corny as s**t. Now if Angel daddy pop out and handle his business on this, bitter, never made it ass MF, he’d have every right to. Old ass speaking hateful every chance he gets.”

Angel Reese’s father, Michael Reese, has a background in basketball, having played for Boston College and Loyola University Maryland before pursuing a professional career overseas in countries like Luxembourg, Cyprus, Austria, and Portugal. Despite his athletic achievements, Angel Reese does not share a close relationship with her father.

Angel Reese Gets Response from WNBA Commissioner Over Pay Gap Issue
Angel Reese, who has been controversial recently due to her bold statements demanding better pay for WNBA players, got a response from WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.
“These things take time,” Engelbert told the press during the WNBA Draft event. “They’re partial proposals … we want full, comprehensive proposals in order to determine what the future looks like. But, again, I’m very optimistic that we’ll get something done and it’ll be transformational.”
“We want to have a fair deal for all, but it has to be within the confines of a sustainable economic model that goes on for ten years,” she added. “We’ve had a few years of great growth … but we need to continue to make sure that we can fund the things that the players are asking for, that we want for them, too.”

Angel Reese has been vocal about the need for better pay in the WNBA. Her statements, however, sparked backlash, with critics urging her to be more respectful of her WNBA salary, while others supported her for shedding light on the pay disparity.
