Chicago Sky’s star forward Angel Reese treats her pet dog named ‘Tiago King’ her best friend. The dog helps her keep it together in life amid the pressures and troubles brought about by her fame and reputation as a professional basketball player.
Reese recently shared the important role that the Yorkshire Terrier is playing in her life. She shared an adorable picture of the dog on her Instagram story, showing her appreciation in her caption.
“My sweet baby! My bestie! My sanity!” she said about Tiago King.
Angel Reese had TIago King in 2023 when she was still playing for the LSU Tigers and dating her then-boyfriend Cam’Ron Fletcher. They have since broken up, but Tiago King still remains on the “Chi-Town Barbie’s” side.
Tiago King’s fur mom had an eventful rookie season in the WNBA, quickly establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the court. She made a name for herself as a double-double machine, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds in 34 games. She missed their last six regular-season games due to a wrist injury, and the Sky failed to make it to the playoffs. Before sitting out the rest of the season, however, she was called to play in the All-Star game along with her rival for the Rookie of the Year race Caitlin Clark, who eventually took the honor.

Like Reese, Tiago King has also amassed a following on social media. The dog currently has almost 13,000 followers on Instagram.
Angel Reese excited to debut in Unrivaled
Angel Reese is about to begin her campaign in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled Basketball League that begins this week. The Chicago Sky star sees her time in the league as an additional opportunity to hone her skills as a basketball player.

Reese will be playing for the Rose Basketball Club alongside fellow WNBA players: Phoenix Mercury’s Kahleah Copper, Indiana Fever’s Lexie Hull, Las Vegas Aces’ Chelsea Gray, LA Sparks’ Azura Stevens, and Washington Mystics’ Brittney Sykes. They will be coached by Nola Henry.
In a recent appearance on Chicago Bulls star Lonzo Ball’s “What an Experience” podcast, Reese talked about her decision to join the Unrivaled league and what it has been like to prepare for the tournament.
“I’ve no complaints. I’m excited,” said Reese. “Well, I am staying in the States, I don’t have to go overseas, I am making six figures, I am living in Miami during my offseason, and I am playing with 34 of the best WNBA players, which is only going to help me improve.”
Angel Reese added, “Some of the best coaches are involved… I am looking forward to honing my skills, and while the games will undoubtedly be exciting and enjoyable, my primary goal is to absorb knowledge from the veterans.”

Unrivaled premieres on Jan. 17 and will be broadcast over Warner Bros. Discovery’s TNT Sports.
