One Angel Reese fan got into a heated argument with former LSU Tigers player Alexis Morris, and the latter went on a long response in the heat of the argument.

Over at X, former LSU Tigers star Alexia Morris blasted out a rant directed to a fan of Chicago Sky star Angel Reese.

In her post, Morris said: “Get off of BEYONCÉ’S internet right now with this bs. MY NAME BEEN HOUSEHOLD, you only know me from LSU! You dk sh*t bout my long lasting resume. This why I told yall, “respect my mf name” in front of millions for a reason! Now get off Beyoncé internet and do some research.”

When looking at the thread, the conversation started when a fan threw shade towards Morris, suggesting that she has no name for herself, and “will always be remembered as “Angel Reese’s teammate.”

Apparently, the comment did not sit well with Morris and led her to clap back to the fan on social media.

Alexis Morris and Angel Reese despite being former teammates at LSU, have had a complicated relationship. While they played together and achieved success, including winning the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, tensions have surfaced over time. Morris has made indirect remarks and social media posts that fans interpreted as shading Reese, leading to public speculation about their dynamic.

Morris joined the LSU Tigers in the 2021-22 season, transferring from Texas A&M. Reese became a Tiger later, transferring from Maryland to LSU for the 2022-23 season.

Alexis Morris was selected by the Connecticut Sun as the 22nd overall pick in the second round of the 2023 WNBA Draft. Angel Reese followed in the 2024 WNBA Draft, where she was chosen by the Chicago Sky as the 7th overall pick in the first round.
