Angel Reese may have just fueled more speculation about her connection with Minnesota Lynx guard Natisha Hiedeman after dropping a playful comment on her latest Instagram post.
On Sunday, Hiedeman uploaded a set of photos that quickly drew a reaction from the Chicago Sky rookie. “hi honeyyyyy,” Reese wrote, keeping up the flirty exchanges the two have shared in recent weeks.

Their back-and-forth started during the All-Star break, where they were first spotted together at the pre-All-Star dance party. Hiedeman—nicknamed “T-Spoon”—took her own shot in July by commenting on a video of her and Reese hugging before the All-Star Game. Since then, fans have been closely following every interaction.
On the court, though, they’re in very different situations. Hiedeman has carved out a key role with Minnesota after signing a one-year, $135,000 deal. She’s been an important piece for a Lynx squad that sits atop the Western Conference with a 28-5 record. Reese and the Sky, meanwhile, are fighting to stay in the playoff picture, sitting fifth in the East and struggling to find consistency.
Angel Reese spotted on “date night”
While fans continue to speculate about the flirtatious dynamic between Angel Reese and Natisha Hiedeman, the “Chi-Town Barbie” added another twist over the weekend.
Reese stepped out Saturday to catch UFC 319, headlined by the middleweight title fight between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev. She posted several shots from the night on her Instagram Story, including one selfie that showed the shoulder of a man sitting beside her.
“Date night,” she captioned the post, without revealing who her mystery companion was. That was enough to spark another round of chatter about who Reese may—or may not—be dating.
For now, the rookie forward remains sidelined with a back injury, missing seven straight games for Chicago. Even off the floor, though, Reese continues to keep the WNBA world buzzing.
