After her team’s momentous victory, Harvard Crimson’s Harmoni Turner picked a specific quote from Angel Reese. She didn’t let the mention slide and supportively replied to the Crimson guard.
Turner made 24 points and six steals to bring the Crimsons to an upset win against the Indiana Hoosiers. This match was one of the best wins of Harvard’s women’s basketball team, as they defeated an AP-ranked squad for the first time in 25 years, per ESPN’s report.
Turner reposted ESPN’s post, with a caption tagging Reese, saying: “keep sleeping… taking the quote from @Reese10Angel when they sleeping on you, tuck em in great team win! proud of us.”
Angel Reese then replied, “Heard you sis!”
The Crimsons are currently 2-0 in the Ivy League Tournament. They would face the Quinnipiac Bobcats on November 11. Last season, the team had a 9-5 standing during the regular season. They’ve advanced to the Great 8, only to lose against the Columbia Lions. The 2023-24 season saw Turner playing 23 games, averaging 19.3 points and 6.2 rebounds.
Angel Reese distraught after US elections
The results of the recent US elections made Angel Reese utterly disappointed in the nation’s people. Reese, an advocate of the right to vote, saw her choice, Kamala Harris, losing against Donald Trump.
The “Chi-Town Barbie” expressed dismay over the much-awaited event’s results in multiple posts on her X account, blaming the people’s “pride” for the triumph of Trump over Harris.
“I’m so disappointed in America….Some of you just couldn’t selfishly put your pride aside huh??!?!?,” Reese tweeted.
“Woke up speechless….” the Chicago Sky star added.
“As a woman, i’m heartbroken for us all…”
Reese then concluded her barrages on the topic with a tweet, saying, “God is the best author and the best finisher. I’m just going to pray on this & think positive.”
Angel Reese determined to enter prestigious fashion show
Angel Reese is known for her presence in numerous fashion shows. After watching a particular show of the iconic brand Victoria’s Secret, Reese dreamt of walking on the runway of the brand’s designer exhibitions.
In her already-passed Instagram story, Reese posted a photo showing a billboard of Victoria’s Secret. She then captioned, saying: “I’m going to walk in a VS Fashion Show! Mark my words.”
Previously, Reese was also present in a previous Victoria’s Secret show along with Kysre
Gondrezick. She was wearing a red gown full of crystals. The Chicago Sky star was also featured in the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards.
