Angel Reese greeted rapper Latto’s 26th birthday last Sunday, sharing warm moments and heartfelt words with her close friend. Reese posted upbeat photos of their meetups in her Instagram story and a special birthday message commemorating their friendship.

Reese shared a photo collage featuring one from Latto’s “Put It In Da Floor” music video, where the Chicago Sky star power forward appeared, another two shots showing their meetups in WNBA games, and one capture where they’re in a supermarket hanging out.

A message from Reese was between the photos:

“Happy birthday to my BIG MAMA! Love you sis! Thank you for always loving & supporting me! You keep getting FINA by TIME!,” she said.

Angel Reese also heightened the buzz by sharing another previous Instagram story where Latto celebrated her birthday with a private jet behind her. Reese captioned: “UGH CAN’T WAIT UNTIL TT BABY PLAYS BASKETBALL & A RAPPER,” hinting at her friend’s pregnancy.

Latto, real name Alyssa Mitchell Stephens, had received rumors that she was pregnant, where people brought up her unusual bump during her “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” tour in Atlanta last November.

However, the rapper has long denied this speculation, sharing a lyric from GloRilla’s “PROCEDURE,” highlighting: “B***h, I’m big mama, but ain’t none these **** worth my womb.”

Despite Angel Reese’s speculative comment about Latto’s pregnancy, the rapper doesn’t make this a big deal, and her birthday ended well through celebrating in a villa, where tigers, flower petals, and cakes awaited her.

Angel Reese reveals signature shoes, ready to be deployed

Angel Reese’s Reebok shoes will be available for the public in 2026, giving a sneak peek in a previous Instagram story to keep many in line for nearly a year later. After a practice, Reese captioned, “We love a good PE😉. 2026 idk if i can wait🤭😭,” providing excitement for the fans.

Reese and Reebok had an agreement during the previous WNBA season. Since then, the Chicago Sky star has promoted the brand’s apparel and made a collection, including her signature player edition shoes.

The “Bayou Barbie” shoes will compete with Nike’s Caitlin Clark signature shoes, as both hit the market in the same year.

Angel Reese clarified that she picked Reebok over more prominent companies, such as Nike, to highlight her name to more fans; the former also presented more creative options that Reese preferred.

“So many different shoe companies wanted to work with me but I chose Reebok. What was it about Reebok? One, they didn’t have a women’s basketball player, a face, so I wanted to be that,” Reese said.

“And three, I like how they were branding everything, and they’re letting me be the creative behind everything I want to do.”

In January, Reese spends the WNBA offseason for the women’s basketball league Unrivaled. She’ll be back for the Sky this May.
