Angel Reese, Chicago Sky forward, recently shared her frustration with Connecticut Sun’s Aneesah Morrow grabbing so many rebounds in Wednesday’s game. Reese’s Sky did not even scratch the surface when it came to the face-off against the Sun and the team pathetically lost with a final 71-62 score.
Reese did not play in Wednesday’s game against the Connecticut Sun as she is still recuperating from her back injury. However, the talented forward seemed to still catch up with the game while at home. While Reese did not say much about her own team, she couldn’t help but heap praise on Morrow’s performance during the game.
“bro watching nees [Morrow] rn lowkey (jokingly) pissing me off cause why are you rebounding that hard rn like it’s personal knowing i’m not there.” Angel Reese tweeted through her X account.
In Wednesday’s game between the Chicago Sky and the Connecticut Sun, Connecticut’s Aneesah Morrow managed to put up nine points in total, while grabbing nine rebounds, leading the team in this area. Leila Lacan led the team on the scoreboard with 17 points, while Saniya Rivers contributed the highest number of helpers with six assists to her name.
Angel Reese is known for her incredible rebounding ability and has a 12.6 average in this WNBA season. Reese’s Sky is eagerly awaiting her return as she continues to recuperate from her back injury which has caused her to miss six games in a row.

Despite being unable to play basketball for the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese still has plenty to look forward to in the coming days. A few days back, Reese announced her first signature shoe line with the brand Reebok and her fans could not be more excited.
However, after the pictures dropped on the internet, it was clear that eager fans were sorely disappointed, despite Angel Reese being pretty enthusiastic about the new kicks. The comments section was full of users who called the shoes plain ugly. Angel Reese’s signature shoe line comes in three different shades – white, bubblegum pink and black-and-white.
With Angel Reese’s impeccable sense of style and unconventional fashion choices, it is true that people would have expected a lot more from the Bayou Barbie. Some social media users also went on to call out the brand Reebok itself, for not giving more thought to the design when it came to Angel Reese’s signature shoe line.
