Angel Reese had a blast at her pre-birthday party, with a theme inspired by her personal brand.

Over at Instagram, Angel Reese shared a story of herself with her friends while at her pre-birthday party.

“I love my friends all soo gorggggg😍,” she wrote in her story caption.

Reese kicked off her 23rd birthday celebrations early with a glamorous pre-birthday party that perfectly reflected her bold and unapologetic personality. The event featured a custom cocktail menu, with drinks named after her signature phrases and career highlights, including the “Bayou Barbie”, a nod to her LSU nickname.

Angel Reese stunned in an all-red outfit, surrounded by a treasure trove of pink-themed gifts, reinforcing her signature Barbie-inspired aesthetic. The night was filled with energy, laughter, and excitement as Reese embraced the moment with friends and fans alike.

One of the standout features of the party was Reese’s Barbie-inspired cake, which was as extravagant as the celebration itself. The cake was gold-colored with pink butterflies surrounding the name “Angel,” making it a dazzling centerpiece for the event.

The design embodied Reese’s love for glamour and her Bayou Barbie persona, blending elegance with playful charm. The cake’s intricate details and vibrant colors made it a perfect reflection of Reese’s personality—bold, stylish, and full of confidence.

Angel Reese Returns to LSU in Sky Preseason Game

The Chicago Sky kicked off their 2025 WNBA preseason with a dominant 89-62 victory over the Brazil National Team. The game was played at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, a fitting location as it marked a homecoming for Angel Reese, who had previously led LSU to a national championship.

The Sky wasted no time asserting their dominance, jumping to a 30-17 lead in the first quarter behind strong performances from Kamilla Cardoso, Reese, and Kia Nurse. Chicago’s defense was relentless, limiting Brazil to just 10 points in the second quarter while extending their lead to 52-27 at halftime.

Reese was a standout performer, showcasing her signature rebounding and interior scoring. She finished the game with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double in just 16 minutes, proving her ability to make an impact in limited playing time.

Her chemistry with Hailey Van Lith, her former LSU teammate, was evident, as the two reunited on the court for the first time in over a year. Van Lith contributed seven points, five assists, and three rebounds in her WNBA preseason debut.

The Sky utilized star players like Angel Reese and Van Lith, and also rotated all 18 players on their training camp roster, giving each a chance to prove themselves before finalizing their regular-season lineup.
