The grind hasn’t stopped for Angel Reese. After a rocky 2025 campaign with the Chicago Sky—one that ended with back issues, a suspension, and some pointed comments about her team’s effort—the Chi-Town Barbie is already shifting gears toward what’s next.
Reese missed the Sky’s final four games but carried the load for much of the season before that. Now, just a month into the offseason, she’s training hard again.

On Saturday, the two-time All-Star shared photos of herself running hills. Her caption was short and on brand:
“Dead Bodiessssss,” she wrote.
She gave more detail in an earlier story, joking about how demanding her regimen has been:
“20 hills on a SATURDAY?!?!?! YA GIRL IS TIREDDDDD.”

Reese’s WNBA year might be over, but she’s got no shortage of basketball ahead. In January, she’ll be back with Rose BC in the Unrivaled league, where she was part of last season’s championship run and also earned the first Defensive Player of the Year award in the league’s short history.
Her early return to training shows she wants to be sharp heading into the 3-on-3 tournament’s second season.
Angel Reese’s Podcast Returns
Basketball isn’t her only focus this fall. Angel Reese also announced that her podcast, Unapologetically Angel, will return on October 2. The show took a break while she was locked into the WNBA grind, but she’s promised to bring back the same mix of fun and unfiltered conversations that made Season 1 a hit.

Last year, Reese brought in big names like Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Common, Speedy Morman, and her mentor Shaquille O’Neal. Fans can expect more of the same as she balances her media work with her training.
And with her Reebok signature shoe set to launch soon, Reese’s offseason schedule is already stacked. Between basketball, podcasting, and business, the Chi-Town Barbie is proving she doesn’t need game days to keep the spotlight on her.
