Chicago Sky star Angel Reese expressed her support for college basketball star Olivia Miles, as she sets out to start a new chapter in a new team.

Angel Reese dropped by one post on Instagram by TCU that celebrated the transfer of Olivia Miles, who used to play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

“Be great sis!” Reese wrote in her comment. “Proud of you and always got your back.”

Olivia Miles made headlines with her decision to enter the transfer portal after the 2025 NCAA season. This move came as a surprise to many, as Miles was widely regarded as a top prospect for the upcoming WNBA Draft. However, she chose to forgo the draft and instead pursue one final year of college eligibility. Her decision was influenced by a desire to continue developing her game and explore new opportunities in a different collegiate environment.

Miles announced her transfer to TCU during a live segment on “NBA on TNT,” where she was joined by basketball legends Candace Parker and Shaquille O’Neal. The moment was marked by excitement as O’Neal presented her with a TCU jersey, symbolizing her new chapter.

In her heartfelt farewell to Notre Dame, Miles expressed gratitude for her time with the Fighting Irish, acknowledging the support of her coaches, teammates, and fans. She emphasized that Notre Dame would always hold a special place in her heart.

The decision to transfer was not without its challenges. Miles had been a cornerstone of Notre Dame’s success, helping the team secure an ACC regular-season title and making deep runs in the NCAA Tournament. Her departure leaves a significant void for the Fighting Irish, who will also be without other key players like Sonia Citron.
