Angel Reese just keeps stacking wins—on and off the court.

The Chicago Sky forward is stepping into even bigger territory after unveiling her first signature sneaker, the Angel Reese 1, with Reebok. Set for release in 2026, the bold “Diamond Dust” colorway instantly caught fire online. But more than the shoe itself, it was Reese’s message that reminded everyone exactly why she’s becoming one of the most influential athletes in the game.

“Just a kid from Baltimore, turning dreams into reality and hoping I can inspire young women and men everywhere to do the same,” Reese posted on X. “The most brilliant diamonds take pressure, polish, and time. Reebok is back, and the diamonds are shining brighter than ever.”

The moment was years in the making. Back in October 2023, during her final year at LSU, Reese signed with Reebok—shortly after Hall of Famer and LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal was named Reebok Basketball’s president. The move made waves, but what’s happened since then has been next level.

With this release, Reese joins a small circle of WNBA stars to get their own signature kicks—names like Caitlin Clark, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and A’ja Wilson. It’s another sign of how far the league, and women’s sports in general, have come in spotlighting athletes beyond the game.

From Sneakers to Screens: Angel Reese Graces NBA 2K26 Cover

As if the shoe launch wasn’t big enough, Angel Reese was also announced as the cover athlete for NBA 2K26’s WNBA Edition—a rare honor that cements her place among the league’s elite.

“Being on the cover of NBA 2K26 and debuting my first-ever signature shoe with Reebok on that cover, the Angel Reese 1, is more than a milestone. It’s a statement,” she said in a press release. “It’s about representation and showing young girls they can be confident, bold, and take up space unapologetically.”

Reese joins legends like Candace Parker, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, and others who have previously graced the 2K cover. It’s a huge deal—especially for someone who just entered the league last season.

She’s not even two full years into her pro career, but she’s already shaping the future of the W. Angel Reese is putting in the work, rewriting the playbook, and proving with every step that she’s here to dominate more than just the paint.
