Angel Reese recently reacted to Hailey Van Lith’s latest Instagram post about her performance this March Madness. Lith is playing for the TCU Horned Frogs this NCAA season and has managed to impress with a 180 degree transformation after failing to do much in her previous year.

Hailey Van Lith played last year for the LSU Tigers, Angel Reese’s former team. With the LSU Tigers, Lith did not put up impressive numbers, but has managed to become the star player of the TCU Horned Frogs this season, especially in the ongoing March Madness tournament.

“No man ever steps in the same river twice. For it is not the same river, And he is not the same man,” Hailey Van Lith posted on her Instagram along with a picture of herself and her TCU teammates.

“🙏🏽💓,” Angel Reese commented on Hailey Van Lith’s Instagram post.

Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith played together for one season in the NCAA for the LSU Tigers. While Reese is currently playing in the WNBA for the Chicago Sky, Lith has yet to finish her college basketball career.

Hailey Van Lith started out her college basketball career with the Louisville Cardinal and played with the team from 2020 to 2023, before moving to the LSU and finally with the TCU. Before entering Louisville, Lith already made a name for herself in high school basketball at Cashmere in Washington.

On another note, Angel Reese’s college basketball team, the LSU Tigers, will be locking horns with the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the upcoming Sweet 16 round of March Madness. The LSU Tigers earned their ticket to the Sweet 16 matchup after defeating the Florida State Seminoles in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
