Anthony Edwards’ last X activity was late in August while on Instagram, his last personal post was on September 1. The Minnesota Timberwolves star is choosing to become inactive on social media as according to an NBA insider, he is shutting down any distraction as he prepares for a new season.

The Wolves failed yet again last season when they bowed to eventual 2025 champions Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals. They were also Western Conference finalists last season but lost to Dallas Mavericks.
They can’t get to another level and many critics this can only happen if Antman will become a much bigger star than he is right now.
The three-time All-Star is listening and according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, he is deep in the lab honing his game.
“He has been off of the social media grid and working on his game,” the reporter wrote.

“He hasn’t had any international play this summer for the first time in a couple of years, which I think has allowed him to buckle down.”
Edwards is only 24 years old but he is one of those young guys predicted to achieve great things. Right now, it is yet to happen.
Anthony Edwards motivated by SGA
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rose almost the same time as Edwards even though he came earlier (2018 vs 2020). Luka Doncic is considered in Top 3 best players in the league right now.
These two guys’ successes are turning into a goal for Edwards according to Krawczynski.

“He was pretty forthright after the loss to the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals that he’s still got a big step to make to get to the level of a Shai, or a Luka,” said the reporter.
“I think he still came into the summer believing it was a little too easy to take him away from the game.”
Edwards have every right to feel that way. He was able to beat Denver Nuggets led by Nikola Jokic but the hurdle he was unable to overcome were Luka and SGA in the last two conferences.
