Minnesota Timberwolves have lost fifth straight but that is not on the mind of their players like Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle. The team bowed to the visiting Golden State Warriors in a game played at the backdrop of ongoing unrest following the killing of a civilian from the hands of ICE officers.

Randle, who struggled with just 11 points in the loss, can’t help but think of his family amid the ongoing violence.
“Regardless of politics, there’s a human aspect to it,” Randle said.
“For me, I have kids, I have family. For me the job as a man is to be the protector of the house. You see things like that, and obviously, it’s tough, it’s hard to stomach things like that… regardless of whatever’s going on. When somebody loses their life, you never want to see that.”

The Wolves lost to the Warriors big time, 85-111. The latter broke away in the fourth quarter when they outscored their hosts 38-17.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr described the game as one of the most bizarre and sad games he’s ever been part of.
Anthony Edwards sends love to Minnesota
Edwards played his usual game in the loss. He scored 32 points and had 11 rebounds.
The Wolves star said he is not aware of what was going on at first but he feels for community now after learning about it.
“I just love Minnesota, all the love and support that they show me,” he told reporters after the game.

“So I’m behind whatever they with. I don’t really have social media, so I’m not in tune with everything. But I’ve heard about the stuff that’s going on. Me and my family definitely praying for everybody.”
Timberwolves will return to Target Center on Monday to play the Warriors again for the second straight time.
