Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is one of the most entertaining players in the NBA. Over the recent All-Star Weekend, Edwards proved why he’s among the best stars in the league by winning the All-Star Game MVP. On Wednesday’s episode of “Game Over,” famed agent Rich Paul even hailed the Wolves star as the best player across the association.
While Edwards has been recognized for his potential, the NBA star hasn’t fully established himself as someone who belongs among the all-time greats. He hasn’t won a championship or an MVP. The deepest he’s reached in the postseason is the Western Conference finals, which he reached twice, but both resulted in an elimination.

But Paul believes Edwards is the best in the league, even compared to Denver Nuggets star and three-time MVP Nikola Jokic.
“I still think it’s a community, but I think that community is led by Anthony Edwards,” Paul said. “I think he’s the best player in our league today… You just don’t know it yet.
Rich Paul says Anthony Edwards is the best player in the NBA 👀
“He is the best player. You can’t watch a game on any given night against anybody and look at that game and say ‘oh that person is better than Anthony Edwards.’ I love Jokic, but no”

His co-host, Max Kellerman, believes Edwards has the potential to be the best in the league. But he mentioned Jokic as someone far better.
“You can’t watch a game on any night against anybody and look at that game and say, ‘Oh, that person is better than Edwards.’ … I love Jokic, no question about it, but no.”
Brian Windhorst thinks Anthony Edwards is underappreciated
While Paul believes that Anthony Edwards is the best of the best, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst has a different opinion about the Wolves star. On Monday’s episode of “Get Up,” Windhorst described Edwards as a player who doesn’t get recognized enough.
The Wolves player, who has yet to win an MVP award or a title, was referred to as a “winner” by the NBA expert. Additionally, Windhorst views Edwards as the future centerpiece of Team USA basketball and All-Star games. He added that the league needs to invest in the former Georgia star to prepare him as the next poster boy.
