Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards rallied the team past the Washington Wizards with a 141-115 win over the Washington Wizards. Edwards had a strong outing and led the Wolves with 35 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals. The star shooting guard had a strong shooting performance, making 66.7% of his shots.
It was all thanks to his strong start to the game, with a 16-point performance in the first quarter. The three-time All-Star made 70% of his shots in the opening quarter. He felt great shooting the basketball and had an NSFW quote for his teammates. The three-time All-Star demanded the ball to keep his hot shooting going.
“Get me the f**king ball,” Edwards said.

In the third quarter, he had an even better and unstoppable outing. Edwards had 19 points on 77.8% shooting. That’s also the quarter where he became more aggressive on the defensive end. He had three steals in 12 minutes.
With his strong performance, Anthony Edwards opted not to play in the fourth quarter. The Wolves improved to 23-13 in the season and ended their four-game road trip with a 3-1 record. The team will travel back to Minnesota for a two-game homestand that will start on Tuesday against the Miami Heat.
Anthony Edwards sleeps early before facing the Heat’s Davion Mitchell

Before the Timberwolves faced the Wizards, Anthony Edwards had to go to work against the Miami Heat. Edwards had a strong performance with his 33 points on 52.6% shooting. But he had to work hard beyond the arc and went 2-for-8 from long distance.
Davion Mitchell of the Heat took on the assignment of guarding the All-Star. After the contest, Edwards revealed that he had to sleep earlier than usual because of the tenacity that Mitchell has on the defensive end.
“I just try to get as much sleep as possible, because Davion Mitchell always gives me a hard time I try to get in bed by like 9:30 PM because I know it’s going to be a long day. He’s going to chase me around, so I had to be ready,” Edwards said.
Mitchell is one of the best on-ball defenders in the NBA and has earned the nickname “Off-Night.”
