Minnesota Timberwolves recorded a 17-point win over the Memphis Grizzlies but to get there, they have to hear first from Chris Finch who according to Anthony Edwards went on a expletive rant about their effort against a team missing key members.

Wolves, fresh from inspiring win over the OKC Thunder, got their fourth straight win against host Memphis with four players scoring at least 20 points. Edwards led everyone with his 33 points.
It’s cold in Memphis but it probably can’t do anything on Finch’s heated moment against his own players who for one moment was just cruising. Edwards said they were pressed and cursed by their coach to get right.
“Nights like this, it’s super hard to find the, not the why, but the energy to put behind it on every play… [Finch] not satisfied with that, and we shouldn’t be either. He said something like, ‘I’m not gonna let up on y’all. If we bullshit on games like this, I’m gonna be on y’all ass until y’all stop bullshitting,'” Edwards told reporters after the game.

“And I told [Jaden McDaniels], he 100% right. Because we coulda played the first 24 minutes hard as shit and been up 30 points and, who knows, maybe not played the 2nd half. And I said, maybe we can shut his ass up that way, if we just come out and play the way he want us to play.”
Wolves established a 20-point lead late in the third quarter and never looked back since to seal teh 131-114 victory.
Anthony Edwards, others answered the call
It did not have to be that way but at least Finch got what he wanted from his players, especially the starters and sixth man Naz Reid.
Edwards’ 33 is followed by other star Julius Randle who had 27 on an efficient 11 out of 17 shooting. Jaden McDaniels had 20 points while Naz Reid 20 off the bench. He also had 9 rebounds and five assists.

Rudy Gobert only had 9 points but he did grab 16 rebounds, blocked 2 shots, and made two steals.
Grizzlies played without six rotation players led by Ja Morant, Zach Edey, and Jaren Jackson Jr, Ty Jerome, who played his first ever game of the season, topscored for them with 20 points.
Wolves are now 31-19 and just half a game behind no. 4 Houston Rockets.
