There’s this saying: Celebrity marriages never last. And that divorce, especially for people with money is a messy, messy affair. Even if neither party would come out dirt poor or broke, the fact that a split not only forces a couple apart, but it splits the assets apart, too.

Well, the saga for the NBA All-Star Anthony Edwards continues as he is under fire. This is after his ex, Ayesha Howard, posted a pointed message on Instagram about her profile metrics and accused his PR ranks of lying.

“Why are my views up? The PR TEAM MUST PUT OUT A NEW LIE,” Howard wrote, sharing a screenshot of her profile reach in what many interpret as a direct jab.

This post is layered over the broader custody and legal struggle between Edwards and Howard, which has played out publicly. In prior filings, Howard reportedly demanded $500,000 in compensation along with a public apology before finalizing custody arrangements.

According to reports, Edwards’s legal team claimed that Howard’s demands were stalling the process. Meanwhile, Howard maintains that her requests stem from the damages—monetary and reputational—she says she’s suffered in the dispute.

This isn’t the first time the public has seen flames in this drama. Earlier rumors suggested Edwards paid over $1,080,000 in up-front child support covering 18 years. Howard later denied those claims, calling them “lies.”

As the Anthony Edwards saga continues to grab headlines, fans and critics alike watch every move, from courtroom filings to cryptic social media posts. The next updates may come via legal filings or more pointed public statements.

Breakups and splits hurt a lot but divorce is really such a big pain. Will the sparks continue to fly?

Ex Ayesha Howard Demands $500K & Apology in Anthony Edwards Custody Battle

Legal documents and media reports show that Ayesha Howard has asked for $500,000 plus a public apology as conditions for finalizing custody with Anthony Edwards.

Howard’s demand includes a public retraction of alleged false and defamatory statements made about her during the dispute. Edwards’s side has responded by calling her financial request “exorbitant.”

Howard counters that her demand is not tied to the custody itself, but rather to compensating for the harm she claims to have suffered in reputation and finances during the legal back-and-forth.

No public courtroom statements from Anthony Edwards have addressed these demands directly. The custody matter remains unresolved, and both sides appear ready for more legal maneuvering before the final deals are signed.
