Isaiah Hartenstein returned for the Oklahoma City Thunder but it did not matter at all for a motivated Anthony Edwards and Minnesota Timberwolves as the defending champs got tripped on the road, 123-111.

This is the second win over the Thunder for the Wolves and Edwards admits that it was a personal game for him because of the way the champs ended their 2025 season.
“It’s super personal for me cuz they put us out last year and they got the reigning MVP,” he said post game.
Beating the Thunder is not only his goal. He wants to be at the top of everyone and say that there is more work to do for him but he is close to it.

OKC are now 38-11 in the season. Timberwolves have won their third straight amidst the ongoing unrest in the state.
Anthony Edwards got a wolf pack
The start of the season was not ideal for the Wolves. There were even cries that Edwards need help.
That notion should be erased, at least for this game, as Minnesota played like a cohesive unit. All five members of the starting unit scored in double digits. Ant-man put up a game high 26 points and was followed by 21 points from Jaden McDaniels who received praises from Edwards post-game for his work ethic.

“I mean he’s been working man, he goes in there with flight every morning and gets his shots up… a lot of dudes they have good games and they’re like awh I don’t need to go this morning, I’ll be in there working out and I see him in… pic.twitter.com/Fu1WIyK5hJ
