Anthony Edwards seriously notes teams trying to underestimate his capabilities on the three-point line. Edwards continues to improve in his downtown shooting, adding another skill for the formidable guard.
The Minnesota Timberwolves star noticed his opponents often disregard him when attempting a three-pointer. Anthony Edwards begins to shatter these doubts by becoming more efficient in the area.
As of the current games, Edwards is 48.1% from downtown, successfully shooting 50 attempts out of 104. Last season, he was 35.7%.

Particularly, Anthony Edwards had a heated streak from three against the Portland Trail Blazers when he had nine shots out of 15 from afar.
While interviewed by Sneaker Reporter, Edwards shared how he began developing his downtown shots. He also warned his opponents that he’ll continue providing more threes if they don’t guard him.
“(Micah Nori) be telling me like, ‘Try to get downhill.’ I’m like, ‘Bro, they’re going under.’ I work on my game too much to try to force going downhill if they’re gonna keep going under. I’m gonna shoot that. I really be surprised at this point, like, I made two threes in the first quarter today,” Edwards said.
“I’m gonna keep shooting this b***h. I don’t know what they doin
g, but I’m gonna keep shooting it… I’m happy. I hope they keep going under. I’m gonna keep lacing that b***h.”
Anthony Edwards averages 29.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists so far in the season. He and the Timberwolves are currently 6-3 in the conference, while they’ll attempt to continue their three-game win streak against the Miami Heat on November 11.

Anthony Edwards strikes fear among fans by tweaking ankle
Anthony Edwards had a slight impediment during his match against the Portland Trail Blazers as he twisted his ankle during the third quarter. Edwards left the court as a result but immediately showed up in the game after a concise rest and continued his heated streak.
Jack Borman of Locked On Sports Minnesota reported Edwards’ incident in his X account, showing his swift recovery:
“Anthony Edwards is tightening the laces on his left shoe and is back on the floor just 50 seconds of game time after checking out,” Borman tweeted.
“Then immediately steps back onto that left side and makes drains his 7th 3-pointer of the game Very normal Anthony Edwards sequence,” the writer added in another post.
Edwards scored 37 points, six rebounds, and five assists against the Trail Blazers. It was his highest point this season, tying with his previous match against the Dallas Mavericks.
