Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry adds his voice to the growing list of NBA personalities who sympathize with the people of Minneapolis in relation to the ongoing protests against the killing of civilians by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.

Warriors played the Minnesota Timberwolves back to back at the Target Center and several players got to see up close the streets filled with people shouting for justice over the killing Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
“I was glued to the TV when we weren’t playing,” Curry said before the Monday rematch.
“Just watching the coverage, understanding what was going on, trying to really get knowledgeable about it.”
“There’s a lot of change that needs to happen. When you’re here, you feel it. Hopefully, the community comes together, and the right decisions are made so there’s more of a peaceful environment here.”

Coach Chris Finch’s squad were able to regroup not 24 hours after and snatched the 108-83 victory over their visitors. Curry sat out this game together with Draymond Green.
Stephen Curry should be suspended says writer
While Curry is just practicing his free speech under the First Amendment, some thought it was wrong for him to call the protest beautiful.
Author Nick Adams, who he himself is a naturalized American, thought Curry should be suspended by the league.
Steph Curry needs to tone down the divisive rhetoric that is inciting violence towards our ICE Agents.
The one-dimensional basketball player continues to ENCOURAGE the riots against ICE, even calling them “beautiful.”

It is unsure if Silver will heed Adams and other conservatives’ call about Curry. He is among the most important players in the league and the NBA is not the NFL.
