Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu got a stray shade from New York Liberty guard Natasha Cloud in a recent heated exchange she had on social media about the ongoing controversy on the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
In a post on X, the US account of Betar Worldwide, Natasha Cloud was branded as a “WNBA player supports the rape of women and mass terrorism against Americans and other foreigners.” Cloud caught wind of the post and clapped back at the Zionist network with her own piece, giving shade to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

“Next time tag me with your scary asses if y’all gonna write a clickbait ass post,” Cloud responded via X, adding a middle-finger emoji, too. “I believe in humanity. To still support Netanyahu and the IDF at this point is evil and disgusting af. Stop weaponizing Israel in the name of religion. No religion condones mass murder.”
She went on and dove deeper and linked the Israeli PM to deeper societal issues.
“Netanyahu & the IDF are corrupted war criminals w/ a colonizer/settler mindset,” Cloud commented. “How did yall get to Palestine after post British colonialism? They defended you. They welcomed you into their land and yall took advantage…Very similar the our very existence as well.”

Benjamin Netanyahu Shifts Stance on Ceasefire with Hamas
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has kept Israel’s response to a Qatari and Egyptian-brokered truce proposal on ice, even as he asserts he will immediately begin talks to free all hostages and bring an end to the war. Nearly a week has passed since Hamas agreed to a temporary halt in fighting in exchange for the release of half its prisoners, yet Israel has remained silent, leaving mediators and hostage families bewildered by the government’s change in tack.

After 18 months of consenting only to phased, partial ceasefires, Netanyahu now insists on a comprehensive deal that secures the release of every captive and a full cessation of hostilities on Israel’s terms. Israeli officials contend that only maximum battlefield pressure, combined with negotiations, will coerce Hamas into accepting Israel’s conditions for peace. Analysts note that this calculus mirrors former President Trump’s dual approach of coupling forceful rhetoric with overtures to dialogue.
Critics charge that Benjamin Netanyahu’s pivot prioritizes grand strategic aims over the immediate plight of innocent hostages, leaving families in limbo and fueling protests in Jerusalem and along West Bank checkpoints. Supporters, however, argue that only a deal meeting Israel’s full set of conditions can guarantee long-term security and deter future attacks by Hamas.
