Giannis Antetokounmpo is growing unhappy with the Milwaukee Bucks. That’s what the media is relentless trying to say as the team struggled in the first half of the season. Bobby Portis was asked about the Greek Freak and what he said might surprise some fans.

The Bucks returned to winning ways again after beating the Atlanta Hawks by a hairline. It is something they will take but the game also showed their main problem. They can’t play consistently throughout the 48 minutes as they again saw their big lead get chopped off by the Hawks.
Antetokounmpo has made statements time and time again that they need to grow, be better, and can’t afford to lose their huge lead and threaten the other team to come back.
What’s ailing them? Is it team chemistry? Portis’ statement about the Greek Freak’s relationship with the rest of the might point to that. He said they are still building camaraderie.
Bobby Portis on conversations he’s had with Giannis:
“He’s taking it a day at a time…still trying to get wins, still trying to build camaraderie with the group we’re with and what happens happens” pic.twitter.com/D3hAukHR2i

He ended his answer by saying that they working hard to achieve cohesion.
Bobby Portis on how they’ll get to playoffs
The Bucks are half a game behind the play-in spot, staring up the Hawks at 11th spot. There are fears that Antetokounmpo will miss the post season for the first time since his rise.
Portis believes they can still make the playoffs and he knows what they need to do.
“The Milwaukee Bucks will be in postseason if we buy in and compete together. I think one of our Achilles heel this season is, has been, when we play against teams that probably aren’t that good, we kind of play down to their levels of competition and then we lose those games,” he told Malika Andrews during an appearance in ESPN show.

“There are kind of games you need to bring that certain type of fire up and then there are certain games I don’t feel like we do. It’s all about competing.”
