Have the Milwaukee Bucks figured things out? It’s hard to say for now, as they are still not in a playoff spot, but at least the team is finally having fun again. Bobby Portis said the mood within the team is changing as they’ve gone 5–1 in their last six games.
The Bucks will head into the break on a winning note after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder through a collective effort. They did it without their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who hasn’t played since January 23, and starting center Myles Turner, who was a late scratch from the lineup.

“It feels good. Obviously, we still got a long season ahead. But currently, right now, the vibe’s great, bro,” he said when asked about their recent stretch.
“The ball’s hopping. We’re having fun. We don’t care about who’s the leading scorer, who gets the most points, whatever that (expletive) is. We’re just trying to win games. And it’s been refreshing to see everybody lock in and commit to winning.”
Portis also hinted that they haven’t given up on the season and are ready to make a push with the latter half approaching. He said their goal is to peak at the right time.
Doc Rivers did not coach them due to personal reason.

Bobby Portis’ double-double leads team effort
Portis recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. He also had three assists and four steals. He wasn’t alone, though.
Seven players scored in double digits, led by new acquisition Ousmane Dieng, who posted a career-high 19 points against his former team. The small forward had also set a personal career high in three-pointers made with 5 during the previous game.

AJ Green added 17 points, while Cam Thomas, their top scorer in the win over the Magic, had 12 points. Kyle Kuzma and Kevin Porter Jr. combined for 26 points and nine assists.
Oklahoma City struggled with three of their key players out. MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, along with Jalen Williams and Isaiah Hartenstein, missed the game due to various injuries.
