Wednesday is extra heavy for Milwaukee Bucks fans after the news surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo and the speculations concerning his future in Wisconsin. Does he really want out? What Bobby Portis revealed about their group chat might suggest something different.

The Bucks had a huge task at hand as they hosted East’s no. 1 team Detroit Pistons but then the media decided to make it a little more difficult by trying to destroy the mood in the locker room by alleging that Antetokounmpo requested a trade before the start of the season.

Things took turn for the worse three minutes in the game when the Greek Freak went down and was taken out, never to return again. Head coach Doc Rivers said Antetokounmpo has undergone MRI immediately after the game.

It was a game that the Bucks should lose. They even went down 19-4 early in the first quarter.
Bobby Portis and others battled back
That’s not what happened. They managed to win the game, 113-109, with great performances from Portis, AJ Green, Ryan Rollins, Kevin Porter Jr., and Jericho Sims who received the minutes that Giannis did not play.
It was a huge and inspiring win and according to Portis, it was their two-time MVP who was the first one to send a congratulatory message to them through their group chat.
