    The Boston Celtics will clash with the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena this Thursday in an exciting season-opener for both the teams. The Boston Celtics finished their preseason, winning four games out of five. On the other hand, the Washington Wizards won two games out of five in their preseason, winning against the Knicks in the finale.     The Boston Celtics performed solidly in the previous season, clinching their 18th NBA championship title. The Celtics finished as the 13th best team in the history of the NBA, winning 80 games and losing only 21 of them. Jayson Tatum was Boston’s best player, while Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis also performed to their potential. In their preseason finale, the Celtics faced the Raptors and lost the game with a close 119-118 score.

The Wizards claimed only 15 wins, and ended up losing 67 games, making the previous season one of their worst. Washington also had a change in coaching mid-season, with Wes Unseld Jr. being replaced by Brian Keefe. The Washington Wizards finished their preseason, winning against the Knicks, 118-117.
