Brandon Ingram was under fire last week for the tantrum he threw during their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. The veteran Toronto Raptors forward was seen during the broadcast throwing a bottle of energy drink that spilled and hit a mop boy.

He appeared unapologetic for his act and was not seen apologizing to the affected employee while his teammate Scottie Barnes joined in in cleaning up the spot. He was only seen staring at nothing as if asking to be left alone with his thoughts.
The video has gone viral and put the one-time All-Star in a bad light.
They in the quotes like “wow how could Brandon Ingram do such a thing.” Man that nigga fuck midgets he don’t care about shit. https://t.co/YQ0rLnWfkh

Meet Brandon Ingram, an overpaid athlete who barely plays and throws bottles on the ground when mad.
A real man-child. He doesn’t apologize and just stands there when middle-class workers have to clean his mess.
This is lame.

The league has since then fined him $25,000 for the act.
Brandon Ingram talked to the mop boy
Former NBA player Matt Bonner gave Ingram the benefit of the doubt and thought the Raptors star was not aware that the mop boy was hit.
Matt Bonner on BI:
“These guys care. We’ve all been there. Anyone who’s played a sport has had a moment where just kind of lose control and spaz out a little bit.”
“Makes me wonder if BI realized he hit the guy, cause he’s kind of looking in his lap/he’s in his own world.”

Regardless, Ingram still apologized for what happened and he personally talked to the employee.

Raptors courtside reporter Danielle Michaud shared during the in-game broadcast:
When I spoke to Brandon Ingram this morning, he expressed remorse around the situation. He told me, quote,
“It was just the emotions of the game came out, like how I was playing – offensively, defensively – just frustration. I wish I wouldn’t have had anybody involved when I did that. But I apologized a bunch of times to the kid that got hit in the face with a water bottle. It wasn’t my intention at all but you know I was frustrated in the midst of the game.”
Ingram did not have a reason to be frustrated on Tuesday night as his team cruised to a win over the Brooklyn Nets where he posted 25 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
