Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller shrugged off what happened between his team and the Detroit Pistons on Monday. The Hornets’ nine-game win streak was snapped by the best team in the Eastern Conference, 110-104. Miller led the team with his 24 points, three assists and two steals on 40.0% shooting from deep.
But the real highlight of the game happened in the middle of the third quarter. Things got heated between Moussa Diabate and Jalen Duren, who was fouled in a play. The two big men had a confrontation, and their teammates tried to separate them. However, tensions were high, and both players started swinging at each other.
Hornets’ Miles Bridges, who initially tried to keep the peace, got involved in the altercation. Isaiah Stewart, who was on the bench, charged at Bridges. All four players involved were ejected from the game. Shortly after that, Charlotte coach Charles Lee was ejected after an argument with a referee.

After the game, Brandon Miller was asked about his thoughts on the brawl. However, the young star shrugged it off with his response.
“It was fun. Next question,” Miller said.

The NBA has the authority to penalize the players involved due to the seriousness of the incident. Fortunately for Miller, he didn’t throw a punch and only tried to prevent the situation from escalating.
How well did Brandon Miller play during the Hornets’ 9-game win streak?
The Hornets have seemingly turned things around this season. In the last few weeks of January and the first few weeks of February, they had a great start. Charlotte’s winning streak was unfortunately cut short against the Pistons.
During that stretch, Brandon Miller was one of the most important pieces to the team’s success. He averaged 21.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists. Overall, Miller has been sensational for the Hornets, and they could make a late-season push to qualify for the playoffs.
