There’s no fury as harsh as online fury. And when Brittany Renner spoke openly about her past, this was a conversation that brought about fiery discourse. During a conversation with Denver Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr, she once again found herself at the center of online debate.

“I’m 33 years old. I’m not having a conversation about body count,” Renner said. “It’s like for me, I just found myself like, what is there to be ashamed of? So when I’m openly talking about my body count on Shannon Sharp or whatever, I’mma be ashamed for what you know what?”
And it seems it hit the soft spot for some. We all know that there are still plenty of ongoing debates as to how a woman adds value to herself versus how men do. Well Brittany Renner stressed that acceptance begins from within. “So I just feel like for me, people just need to be more comfortable with their truth, whatever that looks like. And again, it only takes one person to see your value, that’s yourself,” she added. “So it’s like I will find a man who also accepts me for me. I only need one guy.” [Timestamp: 14:12]
For Brittany Renner, the real issue is how society still attaches shame to women while ignoring men’s own history. And let’s just say that in this conversation, both sides have plenty to talk about with no clear winner in sight.
Brittany Renner Slams ‘Tainted’ Narrative Used Against Women
In that same conversation, Brittany Renner didn’t like the ‘taint’. She challenges the way men frame a woman’s worth around her past. She argued that the idea of women being “tainted” by previous relationships is not only outdated but harmful.

“Men fixate a lot on someone’s past because they feel that another man can permanently taint a woman,” she said. “You don’t have that power.” [Timestamp: 10:34]
Renner explained that many men wrongly believe that a woman loses value based on who she has been with before. “When it comes to relationships in the past, a man focusing on what happened five years ago, or what man you slept with or what guy you were with that is thinking when this man stuck his pes in her, she no longer has value. We’re the whes, but who are y’all fu*****.”
Her strong words underline her ongoing stance: Brittany Renner sees confidence and honesty as non-negotiables in her life, no matter how uncomfortable the topic is for others.
