Bronny James has continued to make his mother, Savannah James, proud through his basketball career. Bronny James, the firstborn of LeBron James and his wife Savannah, is on a two-way contract between the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and their G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

In a recent South Bay Lakers game, Bronny James achieved a personal career milestone, chalking up 39 points on the scoreboard against the Santa Cruz Warriors. James’ incredible performance eventually allowed South Bay to grab an easy win with a final score of 122-118. Savannah James shared a reel showing her son, Bronny James, strutting on the court against the Santa Cruz Warriors, and dropped a wide-smiling emoji to display her pride.

Bronny James has been following strongly in his legendary father’s footsteps, playing high school basketball for Sierra Canyon in LA, and then college basketball for the USC Trojans for one season. The 20-year-old Bronny James eventually made it to the NBA draft and was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers as the 55th overall pick in the second round of the draft.

After struggling initially with the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, Bronny James seems to be finally getting his rhythm. In a recent game for the Lakers, Bronny managed to score 17 points for the team, earning praise and appreciation from sports analysts, fans, and even his coach, JJ Redick.

Bronny James’ Los Angeles Lakers To Take On Indiana Pacers For Next Game

Meanwhile, Bronny James and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers are scheduled to lock horns with the Indiana Pacers to continue the NBA regular season in a few hours. The Lakers are currently ranked fifth in the Western Conference with 43 wins and 28 defeats on the season, four spots below the ruling Oklahoma City Thunder, who have a stunning 60-12 record as of now.

The Los Angeles Lakers are coming here after meeting the Orlando Magic in their previous matchup and losing, 118-106. In that game, Bronny James did not play for the team. LA was led on the scoreboard by Luka Doncic who chalked up 32 points on the scoreboard, grabbing seven rebounds and assisting seven times, while LeBron James added another 24 points for the team, with six boards and seven helpers.

After taking on the Indiana Pacers, the Los Angeles Lakers will be playing against the Chicago Bulls. In their previous meeting with the Pacers, the Lakers managed to win 124-117 after Austin Reaves led the offense with 45 points.
