Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving the Milwaukee Bucks is a storyline many analysts and NBA media personalities are excited to see. They have write ups and mock trades even if the Bucks are having a good season far, contradicting reports that he will leave the team that drafted him in case he becomes unhappy this season.

The Greek Freak himself has ended speculations as he declared the next team he would want to play for, that is if it is possible.
Antetokounmpo turned to X to ask if ever he can play for college team Marquette Golden Eagles which is also based in Wisconsin.
Random thoughts as I sit in my living room…do I have college eligibility??? Can I suit up for Marquette tonight? 🤔💭

In case you missed it, college basketball is now accepting former pros under a revised eligibility rule dictated by growing NIL preferences. Currently, there are two former G-Leaguers who found their way back to college.
Not everyone is happy with the development including Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.
“This was sprung on us again yesterday where a guy can be in the G League for two or three years and then all of a sudden, he’s eligible,” he said about the decision.
“Most of my people knew nothing about it. … I’m not real excited about the NCAA or whoever is making these decisions, without talking to us, just letting it go. They’re afraid they’re going to get sued.”
