Cam Thomas had the majority of the spotlight for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday after their win over the Orlando Magic, but Ousmane Dieng had a highlight of his own. The two players, acquired this month, powered the desperate Bucks with impressive shots off the bench.
Thomas scored 34 points in the victory, while Dieng added 17.

Dieng, who played six minutes or fewer in the last three games for the Oklahoma City Thunder, achieved a personal milestone in the win. His five three-pointers were the most in his four-year NBA career so far.
The 22-year-old thought his shots all came from good plays.
“I mean, just feeling like playing the right way, taking open shots, making open shots, just moving the ball,” he said. “Just play the right way and help the team win.”
Ousmane Dieng lit it up from long range.

It was a collective win for the Bucks. Jericho Sims scored a career-high 17 points, while usual offensive contributors Kevin Porter Jr. and Kyle Kuzma combined for 33.
Ousmane Dieng Has Been Working on His 3-Point Shot
Dieng might be one of those players who just needs playing time to prove himself. He was picked 11th overall by the New York Knicks and was immediately sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He played fewer than 40 games in his first two seasons as he split his time between the NBA and the G League.

He kept working, and one thing he tried to improve was his three-point shooting. The confidence he’s showing with the Bucks is a product of that.
“Obviously it felt good, it felt good, but I work on it,” he said when asked about his shooting.
“So, yeah, I know I’ll shoot it every time I’m open and, yeah, I work on it and I know it will go in.”
