Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever and Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky are upgrading their coaches, and this news really thrilled rapper and college basketball star Flau’Jae Johnson. In light of the upcoming 2025 WNBA season, the two teams are aiming to seek new faces to bring new training styles and playing tactics to the teams.
Clark’s Indiana Fever was being coached by Christie Sides for two whole reasons, while Chicago was in the hands of Teresa Weatherspoon. Despite both teams doing decently so far, the management has decided to bring in new coaches. This topic was covered on Thursday in the ‘Best of Both Worlds with Flau’Jae’ show.
“The Indiana Fever have Stephanie White as head coach, I really like that,” she said. “I love that, I feel like she’s a player’s coach. I even remember when she was recruiting me at Vanderbilt, I was like, ‘I like this lady. I wanna go play for her.'”

The basketball star, who is also an amazing rapper, discussed the two teams seeking emerging coaches. Johnson remarked on Stephanie White being brought in to coach Indiana Fever for the upcoming season, and mentioned that she really liked her, and thought that she was indeed a player’s coach. Johnson admired her even during her time at Vanderbilt.

Caitlin Clark Will Swing Soon In Pro-Am Event, Alongside Nelly Korda
Caitlin Clark will go on to add ‘golf’ to her resume, alongside basketball, as the WNBA star is scheduled to perform in a Pro-Am event on Wednesday. She will not be alone though, and will tee off with a famous golfer, Nelly Korda. Clark fans are showing high levels of interest in seeing the Indiana star rock this game on the greens.

While originally Clark’s Pro-Am event was not supposed to be aired online, broadcasters Gold Channel and the LPGA changed their minds in seeing Clark’s wide appeal. In fact, this is not the first time of Caitlin Clark gracing the greens. The 22 year old guard has been quite vocal about her love for golf and even joked about turning professional during the WNBA off-season.
While Clark fans know well-enough that the star loves the 18-hole game, this will be the first time they see the player actually teeing off in real-time. The star has shown a lot of eagerness and excitement to play in the Pro-Am event which is to be conducted in honor of Annika Sorenstam, a legendary golfer. Back in 2023, Clark also managed to play alongside top golfers like John Deere, and is not afraid to show off her golfing talents this time around as well.
