Connor McCaffery, the boyfriend of WNBA star Caitlin Clark, reposted a picture with his brothers and comedian Theo Von in his Instagram story. The photo, coming from Von’s story, showed him as notably short compared to those beside him, and he has a response about it.

Von, having a height of 6’0, according to IMDb, captioned “I’m not this short” in his story. In comparison, McCaffery’s height is 6’5; his brother Patrick is 6’9. The one beside Connor, named @bizzle519, is roughly the same height as the famous online personality.

The four met together in attendance for the Butler Bulldogs’ match against the Wisconsin Badgers. McCaffery, in particular, is the Bulldogs’ assistant coach, while Patrick is playing as a power forward.

McCaffery joined the Bulldogs last September. He last worked as the Indiana Pacers’ basketball development coordinator. Like his girlfriend, Caitlin Clark, he was also a player for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

McCaffery and the Bulldogs will face the Marquette Golden Eagles next, hoping to recover from their three-game consecutive loss.

Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend reveals how their relationship started

Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, reveals how their bond began and developed. From friendships back at the Iowa Hawkeyes, the two took their relationship to another level, becoming partners.

McCaffery disclosed his connection with Clark in an interview with the Times Union last March:

“We were always friends. Our teams hung out together. We had good relationships with the women’s team and we just eventually started hanging out. Really, at first, it was no different than it had ever been. It was just kind of easy how it all worked out, you know,” McCaffery said.

The two, notable for being silent about their relationship, were garnering public attention when Clark visited her boyfriend during the Butler Bulldogs’ game against Western Michigan. The university even captured the Indiana Fever star watching the match.

Caitlin Clark’s TIME award defended by former tennis champion

One of Caitlin Clark’s notable achievements this year is getting TIME’s Athlete of the Year award. However, some, like Sheila Johnson, owner of the Washington Mystics, find this controversial. Johnson believes the news magazine must also award the WNBA as this year’s best league.

However, for tennis legend Chris Evert, Clark deserves to be singled out from other WNBA stars and be awarded by TIME.

Evert explained her stand in her X/Twitter post:

“Caitlin Clark deserves this award because of her talent and contributions both on and off the court…”

Caitlin Clark undoubtedly became one of this year’s most talked about athletes. She achieved records in her debut at the WNBA, winning the ROTY, let alone how she significantly boosted the league’s viewership due to people willing to see her talent on the court.
