Is Caitlin Clark Unrivaled Player #36?

One of the most awaited announcements in women’s basketball is Caitlin Clark finally officially joining Unrivaled, a new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league where the best and most popular female professional basketball players have joined, including Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese, New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, and Las vegas Aces’ Jackie Young, among many others.

Just recently, the official X account for Unrivaled announced two things: that they signed a partnership deal with insurance State Farm, and that two more players have signed for the upcoming league.

“Unrivaled has announced a multiyear sponsorship with State Farm, making them our exclusive home and auto insurance sponsor, as well as the presenting sponsor for our highly anticipated Club Selection announcement,” Unrivaled announced via X.

With this, fans recalled that Caitlin Clark has a partnership deal with State Faqrm, thus once more fueling the rumors and hype for Clark to finally join the league. Some fans even theorized that with all the type surrounding the call for her to join, both Clark and the management of Unrivaled may be saving her as player #36, or the last one to join.

UINrivfaled had already mentioned in the past that they will “always going to have a roster spot for Caitlin Clark.” As per Unrivaled president Alex Bazell: “We’re not applying a full court press the way people think. We are letting her decompress from basketball. She knows that we have a spot for her when she’s ready.”

Currently, only two posts are left to complete the Unrivaled roster. The league is set to tip off in January 2025 in Miami.

Caitlin Clark is currently enjoying her WNBA offseason. She remains to be with the Indiana Fever. Recently, she explored and dipped her toes into another professional sport, when she played for the recent LPGA pro-am golf event The Annika, where she teed off with with Nelly Korda and host Annika Sorenstam.
