Caitlin Clark made sure Aliyah Boston felt the love on her 24th birthday, giving her teammate a little shout-out that quickly caught Fever fans’ attention. Clark posted a small collage on her Instagram Story — nothing over the top, just a couple of moments that showed how close the two have gotten on and off the floor.
One picture had the pair sharing an on-court moment, and Clark kept the caption simple: “Happy Bday!!!!! love you @aliyah.boston.” Another photo showed the two embracing on the bench, and Clark added a line that hinted at where her mind is these days: “excited to be back out there w ya.”
They haven’t shared the floor since Clark went down with a groin injury against the Connecticut Sun on July 15, but their reunion isn’t far off. Both were named among the 17 players invited to the Team USA training camp for the 2025 FIBA World Cup squad, scheduled for December 12–14 at Duke University.
“See you soon!”: Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark share a candid moment ahead of Team USA cam
Before Aliyah Boston shifts her focus to Vinyl BC for the second Unrivaled 3×3 season, she talked about a quick exchange she had with Clark — and it sounded like both players were counting down the days until camp.

“[I get to] see my girl Caitlin. I was like, ‘Hey girl, see you soon!’ [Clark] was like, ‘See you soon!” Boston said on her Post Moves podcast with Candace Parker.
Boston also spoke on what another USA Basketball opportunity means to her.
“I think anytime you get a chance to really play with USA, it’s just a great opportunity. So honestly, I’m just excited to hoop, hoop a little bit before I go to Unrivaled.”
Clark has made it clear she’s using the camp as a key step in her recovery, choosing rehab over the money-making tours plenty of stars jumped into. Her 2025 campaign ended after only 13 appearances, but the Fever still managed a run to the WNBA semifinals, where the Aces finally pushed them out in Game 5.
Their timelines are finally lining up again — and if their reaction to one another is any indication, Team USA camp will feel like a long-overdue reset for two of the Fever’s cornerstones.
