Caitlin Clark was the most recent guest on the ‘New Heights’ podcast and of course, had to discuss Indy icon Philip Rivers’ return to football. Rivers came out of retirement to play one last season with the Colts sometime back, but also announced that he is done with the game and will be going back to being a high school coach.

Clark admitted that she first found it pretty unbelievable that Rivers was coming back to the game and was also worried about the veteran getting injured on the field. While the Colts may not have put up a stunning record this time out, Rivers’ presence on the field was certainly one of the team’s best highlights, and fans have been going gaga over the player ever since his return to the game was announced.

“Obviously, when I first saw that online, I was like ‘oh, that’s got to be fake news’ because there’s so much fake news out there these days,” Caitlin Clark said.

This was the second time that Caitlin Clark appeared on the Kelce brothers podcast, and fans definitely loved every second of it. Clark was drilled by the football brothers about her opinions on the NFL, including who her favorite player is. Surprisingly, Clark went on to name Drake Maye as her favorite player in the league right now.

Caitlin Clark Wants Pats To Win Super Bowl

Caitlin Clark recently vouched for the Pats to go on and win the Super Bowl, mainly because of her love for Drake Maye. Clark said this on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with the Kelce brothers, but also seemed to lean toward the Rams at the same time.

“I will probably be pulling for the Patriots, but the Rams are really good too. Sam Darnold seems like a good guy…I could root for him.” Caitlin Clark said.

In the same episode, Clark also spoke much about her latest Nike ad, which dropped on Christmas Day. Clark has always been open about her love for this particular brand and admitted that she wanted something unique from her collaboration with Nike.

“I think for myself, I think about what’s been important to me when I think about shoes and sneakers, I think about the chase-ability of them.” Clark stated.

Clark also went on to joke that she might even perhaps come up with a Chiefs-themed sneaker, while also smartly highlighting that she would like whatever technology to be used throughout the entire sole and not just the heel, as with many other top-end sneakers out there in the market today.
