Caitlin Clark posted a fitting response to LeBron James’ encouraging post for her before the new WNBA season kicks off. James, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, shared a picture of himself and Clark side-hugging each other, while wishing her luck for her upcoming season with the Fever. Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark took time to respond to his message with a compliment of his own.
Clark is playing her second season with the Indiana Fever this year. Clark joined the Fever team in the previous WNBA season after being selected as the first overall pick in the very first round of the 2024 draft. Before the league, Clark played college basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

While Caitlin Clark has openly declared her strong love and affection for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA, it is certainly no doubt that she has some mad respect for King James. With his impressive stats and records in the NBA, LeBron James is often touted as the greatest basketball player of all time. Just like him, Clark also carries a label of her own, as the greatest female basketball player of all time.
Caitlin Clark And Indiana Fever To Take On Atlanta Dream Next
Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will be getting ready to take on the Atlanta Dream for their next game in a few days. The Fever will be certainly hoping to repeat their win from their season-opening game against the Chicago Sky. The Fever has been on fire right from the first moment of this season, even posting two wins back-to-back in the preseason.
This will not be the first time that the Indiana Fever takes on the Atlanta Dream, since they already met the team during the preseason. In the preseason game against the Dream, the Indiana Fever won with a final score of 81-76. In that game, the Fever overtook Atlanta in the first and the third quarters, effectively sealing their victory.
The Atlanta Dream will be coming to this matchup after taking on the Washington Mystics in their season-opener. The Dream lost to Washington with a final 94-90 score. Before that, Atlanta played two preseason games, against the Mystics and the Fever, losing both.
